Unfortunately the world has become so commercialised that not all the food we are offered to buy are healthy. In fact, most food in the supermarkets contains so much preservatives, colourants and other ingredients that are of no value to the human body. We should ask ourselfves this question: This thing that I am about to put into my mouth, will it be building my body or not? Throw it away. Don't have it in the house. Many people do not have any knowledge of what is good for them, others are plainly ignorant and just follow their senses, their taste buds and their noses. If it smells nice and taste nice it does not mean it contains good nutrition. Chocolate chip cookies smell very nice when they come out of the oven, and it tastes so nice, but it does not build the body. (Unfortunately!) Life's Many DietsThere are probably more diets than people! Most of these diets are very dangerous for the body. The Health and Fitness Map promotes a "lifestyle diet". That is a diet of eating in moderation of all the healthy food. Should you want to follow a fast or detox diet, it should only be for a very short period. One of the best exercises is walking. It is also one of the easiest and cheapest forms of excercise. You can literally drink your way to health with all these different teas. Rooibos tea is another South African favourite with many healing properties, as is Aloe vera. Almost for every disease there exists some natural remedies that can fight it, from acne problems, heart and cholesterol problems, arthritis and cancer.
